5. boil until potatoes are done
6. mix COLD water and flour in a jar. seal and shake until mixed.
7. add this thickening to the stew
8. season to taste and stir until thick bringing stew to a boil.
9. let simmer on medium heat for a few minutes
10. may serve over warm butter biscuits
